Annual Events
A unique car rally is organized annually by Arushi to highlight the potential of persons who are blind or visually-impaired and demonstrate how society can benefit from their inclusion. Each participant in this rally is accompanied by a navigator who is blind or visually impaired and gives directions from a route map in Braille.

The rally sensitizes people towards the need for developing an inclusive environment. It draws the attention of employers and facility providers towards the abilities of people who are blind or visually impaired and how Braille equips them. Information about blindness, its prevention, and the difficulties faced by persons with visual impairment is also highlighted during this event
Arushi organizes an annual International Film Festival dedicated to Persons with Disabilities. About hundred Indian and international films on disability-related issues are screened across the state – in theatres, schools, colleges and community areas. These are followed by discussions with the audience.

The idea behind this annual event is to create awareness and sensitize people so as to reduce barriers and increase understanding, acceptance, and inclusion of people with disabilities. The film shows also promote positive images of people with disabilities.
Arushi in association with the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS) organizes a five-day Maitri Mahotsav in the first week of December every year to mark the International Day of People with Disabilities on December 3.

This five-day annual event is a celebration of an inclusive society. It exposes people with disabilities to various art forms and at the same time sensitizes others towards issues faced by them. It is an opportunity for people with disabilities to display their talents in an inclusive environment. There are workshops on clay modelling, sand moulding, drawing and painting; poetry recitations and exhibitions. Many well-known artists participate. The event ends with a cultural extravaganza called ‘Ek Taal Ek Saal’ in which children with disabilities from Arushi showcase their talents by performing songs, dance and skits on stage.
Arushi has been participating in the Mumbai Marathon - India's biggest Charity event since 2014. A group of committed marathoners participate and raise funds for Arushi.
